Hey, readers! I know I haven't updated in a few days, and the next week or so I will not have internet access. As soon as I do, you'll be getting a huge update, promise :) Let's see, tomorrow is running last minute errands, Tuesday is driving 12 hours to Childress, Texas, the next day = 10 more hours to Lake City, Colorado; I won't have internet until I move into camp on the 22. That being said, I'll be able to update my twitter via text, so if you want to know what's up, check that. I love all of you!

day six.

When I got home from work today, my mom asked me if I'd take some portraits of my seventeen year old brother, Gray. Gray had enough credits to go to college, so he took his GED spur of the moment and graduated high school. I got to make his announcements as well, which is always good practice :)
This is the one we ended up going with. The rest are just funny because Gray is a goof.

day five.
#15 - Side by Side
Little Miss Nina and I took her corgi, Dylan, for a walk after lunch. They were both so cute on their short little legs :)

#16 - Jump!
She begged me to take a jumping picture of her. Can I explain how much I love my new camera? With my point and shoot there was such a delay that I could never get a jumping picture! With my Nikon, I said 1..2...3...JUMP, clicked, and got it on the first try. Three cheers for DSLRs :)

day four.
#12 - Adds Color to My Sunset
Someone told me this reminded them of the nursing home in the notebook. Regardless, I love how water always reflects more color into the sunset then there is in reality.

#13 - Someone to Watch Over Me
Saint Francis sits in our little garden, watching over the stone bunnies and the pretty flowers.

#14 - The Trolleywood
I love trees. Especially broken ones. I love Eisley too, and Trolleywood is one of my favorite songs.

day three.
#8 - Everybody Wants to be a Cat
I ventured down to the lake last night and this little fella showed up. My neighbor called him Trigger.

#9 - Time-Turner
The little girls I babysit were playing time-machine on that little whirligig thing. The time-turner from Prisoner of Azkaban instantly came to mind.

day two.
day one.
Hi there :) I'm Heather, and I am just plunging into the wonderful world that is photography. I am by no means good, but I hope that by posting my work daily for me and for others to see, I will get better with practice. So here we go, day one of my little project. All photos are shot with a Nikon D40, unless otherwise noted.
